Choose to be influenced by theology over ideology. Prioritize Christian witness over political power. Choose influence over susceptibility. Trust in God instead of giving into panic. In fact, there are times I enjoy the challenging task of puzzling out an answer to an objection to something I have said, a theological or doctrinal quandary, or something similar.

One of the most difficult questions I have faced the last few years—and maybe you can identify here—is where Christians ought to stand politically. This question can take a few different shapes. Maybe you have heard one of these.
